Our Story

YoungStars is a youth training program designed to help youth as well as parents develop life skills and business skills as a team. Working as a team bridges the gap between generations and helps to restore social development (with a vested interest in building the team).
Our focus is on youth ages 12-21 but not limited to this age group. Due to the lack of adult influence in the lives of youth mainly male, we welcome the opportunity of working with all ages. Most people older than 21 are focused on making money by advancing their education entering the workforce post high school. Therefore, this program has their attention due to the monetary benefits in mentoring someone younger.
We have ten training sessions that can be broken up into two trainings per week, if times are agreed upon by YoungStars and your organization, so we can serve your mentoring needs. The training doesn’t end after the ten sessions. All participants whom have completed the ten session program have an opportunity to mentor and train new YoungStars members. They are also offered the opportunity to develop businesses with YoungStars and share ownership.
Our training program starts out with the founder Gregory Keith II who brings over 15 years of experience in micro business and community development. He currently trains groups, as he duplicates this program to other mentors and youth. The youth will begin teaching others by building their YoungStars business with our program.
YoungStars comes directly to the site of choice to build success all across Michigan!
